UFC 271, Israel adesanya defeat Robert whittaker in a close rematch

 The king of the middleweight,ISRAEL ADESANYA retaining his middleweight belt by defeating former champion robert Whittaker via unanimous decision at ufc 271 on Saturday night in houston,12 Feb 2022


The fight enlisted consecutive of five round by unanimous decision to remain the middleweight king,the last stylebender said he is looking forward to compete again in June with Jared cannonier. 

After being dominated by Israel Adesanya in their 2019 meeting, Robert Whittaker entered UFC 271 on Saturday night knowing he had a very difficult puzzle to solve if he wanted to regain the middleweight championship.

He however, appeared destined to suffer a similar fate to his first match up by the middleweight king,when he was stunned and floored in the first round by the last stylebender
